a couple new blog designs:

Here: Simply J Crochet ...I just added the background and navbar. We agreed to do some tradework- I love her work and can't wait to place my order!!!

And Here: A Bella Life...She was the winner of my recent giveaway and is getting married soon! Can't wait to see her wedding posts!!!

In other news, I am amidst official moving hustle and bustle... packing, cleaning, selling stuff on craigslist, trying to decide on if I want to mess with doing a garage sale or just donating a bunch of stuff. I'm still working on several designs for new and previous customers as well. I have everything ready to go to fill my etsy shop again as soon as we are moved into our new place and a little bit settled (I am hoping mid-May). Until then I will keep you posted on any new designs and any other fun things I can find time to show you!

another design and other news

Another great blogger to check out! Click here ------> maggab.blogspot.com Mag resides in the beautiful Northwestern United States. I grew up in the Northwest and dream of living there again. Mag is a wonderful photographer and quite the writer as well!

In other news, the aforementioned Domino Magazine announced this week that they soon will be closing their doors. Sad, sad day. I find myself wishing I had bought every issue for my own personal library like Nicole.

*If you happen to subscribe to this blog, be sure to take a look around my actual blog sometime, as I have revamped a little- adding a navbar and rearranging my sidebars a little. More good things to come folks, more good things:)

latest design and install

Check it out! thatsnotwhattherecipesays.blogspot.com

Just thought I would show off my latest work. Another wonderful experience from start to finish with great communication. And another great blog written by a great gal with amazing recipes! This is the first blog I have done with a navbar, so that was exciting for me. I have three more blogs that I am working on.

Other plans for this week include revamping my etsy packages to reflect some of the new stuff I have learned and offer customers more options. I also hope to be able to make this blog function better for me... and of course the giveaway:) More upcoming posts to look forward to include the usual great stuff with some good ol' St. Valentine inspiration thrown in the mix. Happy blogging!

wanna see some of my latest work?

I really do love what I do. I have been thankful over and over again that I listened to my heart when deciding what to study in college and am thankful for a supportive husband that encourages and supports my continued practice of designing.

I was really excited to open my etsy shop up (and a little fearful of the unknown) and it has been such a joy ever since opening its doors, so to speak. I have been pleasantly surprised with the simple steady flow of people that have placed orders. Even better, I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each one of them. Everyone that I have done business with on etsy so far, both buying and selling, has been so courteous and truly delightful to work with {knock on wood}. It really has kind of renewed my faith in customer service in a way. {Is anyone besides me tired of day to day shopping where customer service all too often non-existent, rude, or overbearing (usually when they are working on a commission)?}

You want to see some of my work? Really the design is truly a combined effort- as you will see each blog is pretty different and kind of a reflection of each blog owner. Anyway, I hope the work keeps coming, as do the kind customers, and I hope you will take the time to visit each blog and get to know each person as they are all wonderful with great blogs to boot!

greenapplegirl.typepad.com: I can only take credit for her header here. She is an amazing scrapbooker!

agirlamarketameal.blogspot.com: She takes cooking to a whole new level, using local fresh ingredients, with mouthwatering recipes, pictures, and is so personable and warm in her writing.

carolinaribbons.blogspot.com: She was so sweet to work with and makes the most adorable bows! I was able to do some bow tags and business cards for her as well.

magnoliaweddingplanner.blogspot.com: I can't take credit for the logo in her header, but the rest of the blog I was able to do for her. Anyone want a dream wedding in Italy? She is your girl! She was so great to work with and spoke such amazing English! I wish I even spoke a little Italian (and lived there for that matter:) ).

thislittlebirdie.blogspot.com: So fun and sweet! Her attention to detail, great taste, and vision deserve a lot of the credit for her blog. She is another amazing scrapbooker.

karendeconstructed.blogspot.com: She was so laid back and easy to work with! I love her taste and am excited to see what she has in store for her etsy shop!

teddybearmakeover.com I don't know if he actually ended up ever using this banner I designed for him, but he was super fun to work with and was great to communicate with! Be sure to check out this fun website.

I am in the middle of a few projects that I will post when they are done also:)
